Create & Edit Sender

Management of Individualized Sender Settings

The menu item Sender is controlled by the rights sender-all-crud and sender-crud.

If a user or his role has the sender-all-crud right, (s)he can create individualized senders and edit and delete all existing senders. If a user has the sender-crud right, (s)he may only edit and delete the sender to whom he is assigned as a user.

Under the menu item Sender you can create the sender for your eyevip. By selecting the +Sender button on the upper right hand side of the window, you can easily add a new sender - these are then available across events.




To make changes to an existing sender, simply click on the blue pen () at the top right of the respective square. In doing so, you open up a pop-up window, where all changes to the respective sender can be made.

The following settings can be adjusted to each sender: 

  • First & Last Name: appears in the recipient's e-mail as the sender of the e-mail (e.g. invitation).
  • Job Title: appears in the e-mail signature, if the corresponding e-mail signature placeholder used.
  • E-Mail: the e-mail (for example invitation) will be sent from this e-mail address.
  • Phone Number: can be used as a placeholder in the e-mails.
  • Cost Center: for internal purposes.
  • Image: here you can upload the signature of a sender (for example signature of the CEO); it will appear in the e-mail (e.g. invitation), as long as the corresponding placeholder is used. Keep in mind that to maintain the image quality a .png or .jpg with a 204 x 80 dimensions is recommended.
  • Reply to Sender or Assistant: here you define to whom the response to the e-mails from this sender should go to should a guest use the "reply to" function in his mail client. Further details on this point can be found below.
  • Assign User: here you define which users are allowed to use this sender.

 

Settings "Reply to"

The Reply to setting determines which e-mail address the response should go to when the recipient of an e-mail (e.g. invitation) uses the Reply to feature in their e-mail.


REPLY TO SENDER

The Reply to sender settings, all replies are directly sent to the address specified in the sender settings in the E-Mail field. 

REPLY TO ASSISTANT 

During the upload of the guest list or by inputting guests in the list, which users a guest "belongs" to can be defined. Should nothing be defined, the guests are automatically assigned to the user who created/uploaded the guest list. Is the Stetting Reply to assistant selected, Beim Upload der Gästeliste bzw. bei der Erstellung von Gästen kann definiert werden, welchem Benutzer ein Gast "gehört". Wird nichts definiert, so sind Gäste automatisch dem Benutzer zugehörig, der sie erstellt/hochgeladen hat.
